About the company
Mythodium, formerly Baker Architects and Studios, approached us with a clear intention: evolve from a traditional architectural practice into a story-driven creative studio that blends sacred architecture, themed environments and immersive experiential design.
Their existing brand no longer reflected their ambition or the emotional depth of their work. They needed a complete reimagining: a new name, a new identity, a new voice, and a visual language that expressed the mythic, symbolic and architectural heart of their craft.
This case study shows how we turned that vision into a fully realised brand identity and a 29-page style guide.
The challenges
Mythodium wanted a brand that:
- Felt timeless and elevated.
- Blended sacred tradition and modern creativity.
- Reflected their three divisions equally.
- Could be applied across architecture, storytelling, fabrication and experiential design.
- Conveyed beauty, meaning and imagination.
Our approach
We began by studying the client’s story, future direction and creative philosophy. The brand needed to feel like an entire world, not just a logo, so we mapped the tone, narrative direction, design temperament and emotional resonance before building any visuals.
The result became the foundation for all future communication, from the website to proposals to digital experiences.
Crafting the brand narrative
The brand guide opens by framing Mythodium as "the evolution of Baker Architects and Studios", a studio where architecture, art and imagination become story-filled environments.
Mission: reclaim beauty and meaning in places that matter most. Vision: unite story, light, craft and symbolism to create architecture with emotional depth. Core values: mythos, beauty, craftsmanship, imagination, integrity, collaboration and legacy.
Primary logo and symbolism
The final mark reflects sacred architecture and mythic symbolism: arched forms, geometric balance and a domed silhouette rooted in classical proportion. It conveys craft, story, structure and timelessness.
We illustrated the geometry behind the emblem to highlight its architectural precision, and created safe-zone and sizing standards to ensure consistent, respectful application.
Building the color system
We crafted a palette inspired by sacred spaces, natural materials and mythic atmospheres: Mythic Navy for structure and depth, Eternal Copper for craftsmanship, Cathedral Gold for sacred luminosity, Ivory Light for clarity and calm, and Stone Charcoal for grounding contrast. Each colour was specified in CMYK, RGB and HEX with tonal variations, so digital and print stay consistent.
Typography: classical meets modern
We built a typographic system that blends elegance with clarity. Cormorant Garamond as the primary face, sculptural, historic and architectural. Poppins as the secondary face, clean, modern and geometric. Together they let Mythodium speak in a voice that is both mythic and contemporary. We also provided hierarchy templates for headings, subheads, body text and calls to action.
Structuring the studio
The brand needed structure to communicate Mythodium’s multidisciplinary nature, so we defined three core divisions: Sacred Architecture and Art, "True Myth Made Stone"; Themed Environments, "Mythic Worlds Made Real"; and Micro-Resorts and Storybook Retreats, "Personal Myths of Rest and Wonder". That clarity shapes how the future website organises services and case studies.
Detailing the service offerings
We turned complex architectural and experiential services into accessible, client-friendly explanations. Each service section addresses the problem Mythodium solves, the method, and the emotional or experiential outcome.
- Sacred Architecture and Art.
- Themed Environments.
- Micro-Resorts and Retreats.
- Digital Design and Technology.
- Murals and Environmental Art.
- Design-Build and Artisan Fabrication.
Visualizing the process
We built a clear six-step process diagram for Mythodium’s creative methodology: discovery, concept, interactive design, development, fabrication and installation. That becomes the How We Work page for the website.
Conclusion
The Mythodium rebrand marks a complete transformation, one that aligns the studio’s identity with the depth, imagination and craftsmanship at the heart of its work. Through a unified narrative, a precise visual system and clearly defined divisions and services, the brand guide gives Mythodium the clarity and structure it needs for confident growth.
More than a new look, this identity establishes Mythodium as a studio where architecture, story and artistry converge, positioning them to create spaces of meaning and wonder for years to come.
