How a Miami Electronics Distributor Nearly Doubled Its Google Visibility in Four Languages
A Miami electronics distributor serving Latin America needed a corporate website that worked in four languages and a search program to match. We built and maintain the multilingual site, published 20 market pages and 60+ articles, and in five months its Google impressions nearly doubled while average position improved from 16.6 to 9.3.

01
Introduction
A Miami distributor that supplies consumer electronics to retailers, resellers and importers across Latin America and the Caribbean had a problem common to established B2B companies: decades of trade relationships, and a web presence that did not speak the languages of the buyers it served.
We built and now maintain a corporate website in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese, then ran a monthly SEO program behind it: technical fixes, a page for every market and a steady stream of articles written for wholesale buyers. Between January and June 2026, Google impressions nearly doubled and the site’s average position moved from page two to page one.
02
About the client
The company is a family-founded distributor of consumer electronics, computing, audio and small appliances, and an authorized reseller for several of the world’s largest consumer electronics brands. From a headquarters and distribution center in Miami, with offices and warehouse operations across Mexico, Colombia, Panama and Chile, it supplies more than 11,000 product lines to retailers, e-commerce sellers and regional distributors throughout the Americas.
03
The challenge
- The previous web presence was built around an online storefront, so the corporate story, the brand partnerships and the reasons to become a reseller were buried.
- Buyers search in Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese as well as English, and the language versions were incomplete, inconsistent or missing translations.
- Technical issues held the site back: hreflang tags without return links, pages missing H1 headings, images without alt text and no titles or meta descriptions on key pages.
- No dedicated pages for the five markets the company actually operates in, so it could not compete for searches like “electronics distributor Mexico” or “distribuidor de electrónica Panamá”.
- Almost all search traffic came from people who already knew the company name.
04
Project objectives
- Give the company a modern corporate website that presents its brand partnerships, solutions and locations clearly, in four languages.
- Fix the technical foundations so Google could understand and rank every language version.
- Win non-branded searches in each market with location pages and a regular publishing program.
- Keep the site secure, fast and up to date, with tracking that can be trusted.
05
Phase 1: a multilingual corporate website
We built the site on WordPress with Elementor, structured around how distributors and resellers buy: three solution lines (retail, distribution and enterprise), a brand partners page, a locations section and a “Become a Partner” registration form on every page. The storefront moved to its own subdomain, with redirects so old shop URLs still land in the right place.
- English, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese versions with a language switcher, and translations synced across pages and blog posts.
- A brand partners wall with more than 20 manufacturer logos and campaign banners for individual brands, shown per language.
- Mobile-optimized banners and a round of mobile touch-ups to menus, maps, animations and headings.
- A partner registration form routed to the sales and marketing team.
06
Phase 2: technical SEO in four languages
Before writing a word of new content, we cleaned up the foundations Google reads.
- Hreflang return links and non-200 hreflang URLs fixed, so each language version is understood as a translation, not a duplicate.
- Missing H1 headings, missing alt text and missing focus keyphrases fixed across the site.
- Titles and meta descriptions written for every main page, in English and Spanish.
- A Spanish keyword strategy researched separately rather than translated, and the Portuguese version rebuilt from scratch.
- Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Tag Manager verified, plus a branded 404 page.
07
Phase 3: a page for every market
We wrote and published a dedicated page for each country the company serves: the United States (the Miami headquarters), Mexico, Colombia, Panama and Chile, each in all four languages. Every page explains what the company distributes from that hub, who it works with and how orders are fulfilled. By mid-July 2026 the English and Spanish market pages alone had earned more than 14,000 Google impressions and 260 clicks.
08
Phase 4: content for wholesale buyers
Since November 2025 we have published more than 60 articles in English, with translations, each answering a question a reseller or importer actually searches: how to import electronics from Miami to Colombia, Panama or Chile, payment terms and minimum order quantities, Incoterms, authorized versus gray-market supply, the Colón Free Zone, and market guides for Mexico, Colombia and Chile. A monthly link-building program supports the content.
- Category guides for laptops, mobile phones, monitors, networking, audio, gaming peripherals, wearables, storage and software licences.
- Practical buyer guides on RMA and warranty claims, MAP pricing and Q4 inventory planning.
- Ongoing maintenance alongside: plugin and theme updates, security hardening, CDN and bot protection, a cookie consent banner and a site-wide audit to make every card and button fully clickable.
